The following are some rules and guidelines to consider, both when joining the site as a new member and as an established part of the community. Please read them carefully and submit any questions you may have to the administration (e-mail addresses are included below).

The moderators reserve the right at all times to remove any posts, or replies thereto, which violate the following conditions, and to take disciplinary action against users as necessary.

1. This community is intended to be for all ages and all types of people from all corners of the globe. Please do not post abusive, slanderous, or vulgar material on the forum. Repeated offenses may result in a ban from the community.

2. Please do not post links to copyrighted material without crediting its source, or links to illegally downloaded material. Bear in mind, also, that this community does not exist for the advertisement of other forums or websites.

3. Topics are limited to those relevant to the Pet Shop Boys, their projects, or related artists. Please try to keep topics tasteful and relevant to the entire community. Personal problems should be dealt with privately, requests to the administration e-mailed, and private matters should be limited if posted. Non PSB topics or replies will be deleted and the poster will be excluded (at least) for one week.

4. When responding to a topic, please be respectful of the original poster of the topic by keeping your replies relevant.

5. Please do not register alternate nicknames with the intent and purpose of masking your identity. Multiple nicknames are not permitted.

6. Should issues arise between yourself and another member of the community, please inform the moderators. Include the member's nickname, the problems experienced, and the date and time of day of any specific incidents in the chat room. It may be necessary for us to review the chat log, and you may provide that if you wish as well. We will do our best to rectify any problems as they arise. But keep in mind, that it's not our daily business.

7a. Please do not spam or flood the forum or the chat room. Flooding entails the incessant and multiple postings of a single user on the same topic. Spamming the chat is the use of a repeated word or phrase quickly posted in an attempt to slow down or disconnect other users from the chat, or the use of the forum board to post that which is against the agreements and guidelines of the forum. Topics discerned as spamming or flooding will be deleted by the administration.

7b.Administrators are allowed to lock or ban nicknames (even without stating the reason) to preserve the communitys integrity!

8. Please remember your netiquette. Do not post intentionally inflammatory topics within this established community with the intention of eliciting confrontational responses. Grave-digging, the practice of posting responses to old, irrelevant topics simply to bring said topics back to the forefront is also discouraged. Content on the forum is not pre-screened, and it is the users' responsibility to ensure that it is relevant and appropriate. If administration finds objection to a topic as relates to the agreement or these guidelines, it may (and will) be removed.

9. Please be respectful of all members of the community, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, country of residence, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. While it is not necessary that we all like one another, it is imperative that we attempt to foster a community of maturity and mutual respect. Do your best to be kind, and remember that this site represents many different kinds of people with multiple viewpoints and ways of life.

10. Please remember that, although this is a Pet Shop Boys forum, and PSB-Online is in no way officially affiliated with the group or its management, in many ways our presence online is a representation of Pet Shop Boys fans.

12. If you feel offended by a topic or reply, or if any topic or reply is against any law, please contact the administration immediatly! Therefor you can send an eMail.
